1. Supported platforms
============================== 
- Windows 7 with service pack 1, x86 and x64, English
- Windows 8, x86 and x64, English
- Windows 8.1, x64, English
- Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional 12.5

2. Known issues
=================
- It is not possible to control Speech Control(PDCC) or SpeechExec via Speech Control application control. The application control feature does not do anything if SpeechExec or Speech Control is in focus.

- After a silent upgrade or repair installation of PDCC the PC has to be restarted if an old version of PDCC was running during installation.

- Power Save mode

  When Laptops go into system standby mode and hard disk sleep
  mode, they must be returned to normal operation mode before 
  recording can start.
  
- .Net Framework Installation 

  The installation of Microsoft .NET framework might take some minutes.

- Your screen flickers when you start Philips Speech Control or other applications using WPF technology 
  in a Windows Server 2003 terminal server session.
  To fix this problem please use the following link from Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/955692/en-us

- On Windows 2008 server Desktop experience has to be installed

- Please make sure to always use the latest DirectX and Video card drivers on your computer

- On Windows7 .net 3.5.1 feature shuld not be turned off

- It is recommended to use the second muting option in Philips Device Control Center (SpeechControl)

- When using the first audio mute option in Philips Device Control Center (SpeechControl) it can happen 
  that Dragon icons on the System tray and on Dragon bar get out of synch. One shows dictation mode and 
  the other does not. In that case the Dragon microphone Icon has to be pressed with the mouse to be 
  able to continue working.

- "Compound words" Dragon command in Philips Device Control Center (SpeechControl) does not work if
  a French language profile is used in Dragon NaturallySpeaking.

- The successfull execution of Dragon commands in Philips Device Control Center (SpeechControl) can depend 
  on the target application and Dragon version. It may happen that some commands do not Work in some target 
  applications used with some Dragon versions.

3.  Central setup and configuration
===================================

- You can find more information about silent setup options and central configuration options of 
  application control profiles in the 'Administration guide' stored in <..\Win\Manuals\SpeechControl Administration guide> on the SpeechControl CD 

- In the folder <..\Win\Tools\Application Control Profiles> you can find two profiles that are prepared for Dragon Medical Practice Edition 2,
  which can be used as a starting point for the central management of application control profiles.
